2.0 SLR (199) Service Lift Requirements:
Specific, approved 2-post, above-ground, frame contact lifts with the proper modification are required in order to safely accommodate the SLR. The lift towers are set further apart than the standard lift by approximately 8 inches to safely accommodate the door opening. Additionally, there are special adapters for the lift arms to interface with the SLR chassis. The adapters have threaded bolts which screw (hand-tightened) into a threaded receptacle into the SLR chassis to allow the vehicle to be lifted safely and avoid injury or vehicle damage. Dealers can either modify and relocate an existing (approved lift) or install an approved new, SLR compatible lift.

Caution: Under no circumstances is the vehicle to be lifted using any other equipment including floor jacks.
